This tool will resharpen and re-groove your irons and wedges back to new condition. Helps increase backspin and makes your ball "dance" like the Pro's! I love this tool for regrooving my irons. You do have to be very careful if your grooves aren't very deep. Use oil to aid the cutting tool, but start out with light pressure at first until you get a good groove to follow, then use more pressure. If you get in too big of a hurry, you might slip and put a scratch in the wrong place on the iron face, like I did. It's a learning process. After the scratch, I decided to take my time and do one iron a day, for best results. Just don't get in a hurry.

The tool has a large handle which make it easy to use. My iron set has never been sharpened after about about 60 rounds. Cleaning and sharpening all 10 irons with X6 took me less 30 minutes.
On the course, I feel great seeing my 50 yard pitch shot caused the ball to back up 3-4 feet. It brought my favorite wedges back to life. Looks like I saved myself from buying 3 new wedges.

My clubs are 8 years old. The grooves have never been sharpened. Sharpening with this tool was hard work because the grooves were in such bad shape. Once done, the grooves were better than new. I will resharpen once per month and I expect the process to go much better and faster.

This is a very easy to use tool. Took me 20 mintues to sharpen my (3) wedges. I could tell a huge difference when I played, the ball had much more backspin than before. Nice quality and design, seemed to stay sharp
