5 out of 5 stars Great balls for a beginner   August 31, 2010
Stefan (San Diego, CA)
These balls are perfect because I lose at least one every 3-4 holes and I always have a fresh one in hand. They are inexpensive so I don't waste my time getting frustrated looking for my presumably lost ball. I can spend all my time being frustrated at my golf swing instead.

5 out of 5 stars Ooooo I'm a believer   August 31, 2010
J. Fowler (St. Louis, MO)
I purchased these to have an inexpensive ball to take to the park or my back yard and use for chipping/pitching practice. I expected rocks or worse at this price point. I am more than pleasantly surprised. I am about a 10 handicap, and while I normally play much more expensive balls, I would not hesitate to recommend these for anyone that isn't a scratch golfer. Durability for me, contrary to one other reviewers experience, is normal. In regards to feel, apparently the days of cheap balls feeling like you were swinging at lead is gone because these are surprisingly soft. Granted not on the level of a V1x, B330 etc but considering the price difference of .47 per ball vs. approx 3.35 and up per ball for the others, this becomes an attractive option.

The one knock I could come up with, and this is nitpicking, is the packaging. In an effort to keep costs down, they have cut superfluous packaging by putting the 36 balls in a three tier box with cardboard between each tier. I would pay a little extra if the balls were packaged in individual sleeves in the same attractive packaging. This is FAR from a deal breaker for me however. I find that the value here is incredible. I would recommend that you take the savings you get here and play more golf. Your improved swing will impress much more than playing and losing a four dollar ball.

5 out of 5 stars If you shoot over 90 for 18, these are for you!   August 19, 2010

If you are a casual hacker like myself, you will appreciate the value of these Beta Ti balls. These are not a Pro V1 and you hear a difference when putt a Pro V vs a Beta Ti ball.... but if you shoot over 90 for 18 then I'm sure your not paying for Pro V1's. I couldn't tell a difference between these vs the other balls I had in my bag (maxfli, top flight ect..) Good ball for the money, I will buy again.

5 out of 5 stars Great Beginner Balls   July 13, 2010

Great for beginners. As someone who just started golfing late last year, I cannot tell any difference between these balls that cost 50 cents per ball to high end balls, which cost $4. And since not too many golfers use this brand name, it's hard to mistake someone else's balls for yours.

4 out of 5 stars good enough for this beginner   June 10, 2010
K. Markley (church, United States)
i am just starting out with this ever so frustrating sport. i picked up these balls, as they were inexpensive, so i would not feel bad about losing them. well i have lost quite a few, and nope, i dont feel bad about it. my game is improving, and i will probably try out some new balls at some point, but these have been great so far
